Durometers

Durometers measure the indentation hardness of rubber, plastics, foam and other soft materials. A spring-loaded indenter is pressed into the sample and the reading is shown on a dial or digital display on the Shore scale (A, D, OO and others) or the Asker scale. Test stands apply a repeatable load for more consistent results.
