Ultrasonic Leak Detectors

Ultrasonic leak detectors pick up the high-frequency sound that escaping gas makes, which is beyond human hearing, and convert it to a tone and a reading. Plant teams use them to find compressed air, steam, gas and vacuum leaks, and to check valves, traps and electrical discharge. They work in noisy environments where listening alone fails.
