Coating Thickness Gauges

Coating thickness gauges measure the dry film thickness of paint, powder coating, plating and other layers on metal. Magnetic probes read non-magnetic coatings on steel, and eddy-current probes read non-conductive coatings on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Inspectors use them in painting, fabrication, shipbuilding, pipelines and automotive work.

Choose by substrate type, thickness range, probe style (built-in or separate) and logging features. Check the standards your specification cites, such as ISO 2808 or SSPC-PA 2, and whether calibration certificates are needed. TSA quotes on request and ships worldwide, DDP.
