Gloss Meters

Gloss meters measure how much light a surface reflects at a fixed angle and report the result in gloss units (GU). Paint, coatings, plastics, metal finishing and printing all use gloss readings to check finish consistency from batch to batch.

Geometry matters: 60 degrees suits most finishes, 20 degrees separates high-gloss surfaces and 85 degrees suits low-gloss or matte ones. Check the measuring range, readings capacity and the standards you follow, such as ISO 2813 or ASTM D523. Request a quotation from TSA; we ship worldwide, DDP.
