Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges

Ultrasonic thickness gauges measure wall thickness from one side by timing a sound pulse through the material and back. They are used to find corrosion and wear on tanks, pipes, vessels, ship hulls and machined parts, without cutting or draining anything. Models with a waveform display help on difficult surfaces.

Choose by thickness range, material velocity settings, transducer frequency and size, display type and data logging. Calibration blocks and couplant are needed for accurate readings, and ASTM E797 covers the contact pulse-echo method. Request a quotation from TSA; we ship worldwide, DDP.
