A noise dosimeter is a small wearable meter that records a worker’s sound exposure over a shift and calculates dose against a limit. Occupational health teams use them for hearing conservation programs and to document noise at work. Some models add octave band analysis or audio recording, and intrinsically safe versions suit hazardous areas.
Consider the measuring range, the exposure criteria you must report against, memory and battery life, the software, and whether a certified intrinsically safe unit is required. IEC 61252 is the standard for personal sound exposure meters. Request a quotation from TSA; we ship worldwide, DDP.
