Infrared temperature sensors measure surface temperature without touching the target, which suits moving, hot or hard-to-reach objects. Pyrometers and fixed sensors mount on a machine or line and output a signal to a controller or display. Typical uses include metal processing, glass, plastics, food lines and electrical equipment monitoring.
