- Constant load stand for Type A and Asker C durometers (Shore hardness, ASTM D2240 types)
- Type A has a flat-point indentor, suited to normal rubber
- Type Asker C has a hemispherical indentor for soft rubber and sponge
- Durometers measure the hardness of rubber, elastomers and plastic products
- The durometer is pressed on the sample until material resistance and indentor spring balance; indentor depth gives the hardness value
- Values on a 100-point scale (accuracy ±1 point)
